Wow-nice to see. Not a Extreme Makeover Show, just a veteran's group helping one of our own.

These guys and gals deserve all the help they can get. I would like to see a whole season of the Extreme Makeover show of them helping out returning service members. In lieu of that, then I think we all should help!

I'm OK - You're OK

Maybe a quick postcard from you....inviting him onto your humor blog (especially with all the service related humor) could be just what the Dr. ordered right now. If he read a little every morning and night - it really could help through the transition, I 'm sure.

Bill Cosby: "If we can find humor in anything, we can survive it."

Thank you again for it, Spikegary. The possibilities for making a real difference are unlimited with it.

Makes me proud of my fellow service men and women. Now if you'll excuse me I'll go wipe the tears from my eyes.

That actually leaves me searching for the right words to describe what a great thing this group is doing. What amazing generosity and kindness to help out each other in such a profound way. Great story and great find my friend.

Great story. Thanks for posting! I don't think I could put in words how proud it makes me to see that the military is still taking care of the veterans even after discharge.

Yay! Good story! I hope the VA and the military, as well as other privately funded organizations continue to step up and provide viable assistance to our veterans in every way that's needed. It's the least we can do for our veterans.

Agreed and thank you! I'm glad we're doing a better job now than we did after Vietnam-I still believe what was done to our veterans, what wasn't done and the way they were treated was and is a national disgrace.
