His death, on March 4, 2009, rocked the Fazzolari family to its roots.
It also stunned the North Collins community, the friends of the family throughout Western New York, and the Gow School, where Fazzolari had worked as executive chef since 2004.
"I wanted to share Jeff's message," said Fazzolari, 46, of Blasdell. "Celebrate your life. You don't know how many days you are going to get. Enjoy what you have."
The new book, called "Oh Brother: The Life and Times of Jeff Fazzolari," has been published by SterlingHouse publishers in Pittsburgh and sells for $19. All proceeds from the book are going to a college fund for Jeff Fazzolari's children, Johnny, 9, Farrah, 6, and Rocco, who is 4.
